So who knew that dog dna tests were done? Well at least not me, but probably breeders and people who show dogs did.
My sister recently purchased a bull mastiff, adorable, well at least till she is 200+ lbs. The puppy was expensive but not as expensive as the "show" quality puppies because she is pure bread. That made me wonder and lead to research to see how you know if you are buying a pure bread puppy?

Pretty interesting and I can see with what they charge for full bread dogs why you would want to make sure you are getting what you paid for.

Chihuahua vs. Prey Mantis
Benjamin is the ultimate watch dog. Nothing comes by our house without him knowing it. Not even bugs.
We released some prey mantis (beneficial bugs) into our yard and they seem to love to torment Ben by hanging on the window.
Wish you could see the prey mantis better in the photo. Its really large. Benjamin sat there for about 20 min (me too) trying to get the bug off the window with his paw. Wicked funny.
